Grief Support

Bereavement Services

Bereavement services are an integral part of the hospice program. Following a terminal diagnosis, patients and families often struggle with anticipatory grief issues. Social workers, chaplains and counselors are available to assist during this emotionally difficult time. Following a hospice patient’s death, hospice is available to provide bereavement support to grieving families for a period of 13 months.

Who can receive Bereavement Services?

Bereavement services are available to friends, family and caregivers of our hospice patients; prior to and after death.

Our Bereavement services are also available to general community members who may be in need of grief support.
